Host & Cohost FAQ's

Here you will find some questions about being a Chirpy host/cohost.

How do I become a host?

Before you can become a host, you first become a cohost. This is to help prepare and train you to become a host by learning more about Chirpy, and how to use the platform. After you and the host team leader are satisfied you will then be asked to become a host.

What is the difference between a host and a cohost?

A cohost, with assistance from their host team leader, will organise and list catchups for the group. They look after making bookings and where possible attending catchups.

The host team leader will welcome new members into the group and take care of any other administrative tasks.

A host looks after the group by organising and listing catchups, taking care of reservations and welcoming new members to the group.

What is the minimum required catchups needed each month?

As a minimum, we ask that two catchups are organised each month for each group. This is regardless of whether you are a host or a cohost.

What if I can't hold two catchups a month?

If you're unable to host two catchups, speak with your host team leader. We're able to organise an unhosted catchup on your behalf.

Can a group have more than one host, or cohost or combined?

Yes, of course, we can have a host and a cohost or two hosts or cohosts in one group. If you need assistance and have someone who is willing to be an additional host/cohost of your group then send an email to hosts@chirpyplus.com and we'll take it from there.

What do I do if there is a conflict between members of my group?

The best thing to do is email support@chirpyplus.com with as much information as you possibly can.
